I’m Marisa.

I’m currently pursuing my PhD in Sociology at the University of Cambridge. My research interests are largely in digital labor where I study worker perspectives and the impacts of technology on everyday life and work.

I also work in the decentralized tech space building payments on open source social media with the Blacksky team. In addition, I’m President of a nonprofit that acts as a fiscal host to 25+ of NYC’s grassroots organizations.
